Child Leadership

Auriol believes in a pupil lead culture, where children are involved in shaping the teaching and learning that happens in the school. We also vales the peronal development of all children by moulding leaders of the future, ready for work and ready to be shining citizens of the world. 

The school has a Junior Leadership Team (JLT) that consists of members from different year groups who represent pupils across the school, and go through a rigourous application process including application letters, whole class speeches and interview with Mr Knights. 

The JLT monitor and discuss aspects of the school such as the curriculum, the behaviour, inclusion, and the school environment. The JLT also receives feedback from their peers through pupil voice surveys and suggestion boxes.
