Our gates open at the start of the day at 8:25am and doors to enter the school open at 8:30am. Children are expected in class for registration between 8:30am-8:40am.
The school day finishes at 3:10pm, with the school gates opening a short time before this to allow parents and carers on site ready for collection.
32.5 hours of school are provided each week.
Registers are taken twice a day, once at 8:40am and once at 1:00pm.
The timings for the school day at Auriol Junior School are:

8:25am | Pupil gates open; children and families are welcome to wait on the school playground. |
8:30am | Children can enter school building. |
8:40am | Register is taken and lessons begin (your child is marked as late if they arrive after this time). |
10:15am-10:30am | Year 3 and 4 Playtime |
10:30am | Assembly |
10:45am-11:00am | Year 5 and 6 Playtime |
12:00pm-12:50pm | Year 3 and 4 Lunch |
12:10pm-1:00pm | Year 5 and 6 Lunch |
1:00pm | Afternoon registration |
3:05pm | Pupil gates are open for parent collection |
3:10pm | Children are dismissed from class (Year 6 children are allowed to walk home but must have parental permission. During summer term, Year 5 children are also permitted to walk home but must have parent permission). |
