Writing
Our progressive English curriculum seamlessly develops speaking, listening and writing skills which empower students to communicate effectively and with grammatical accuracy. In appreciating the importance literacy has for children as life-long learners, we deliver purposeful and engaging lessons which inspire and motivate children to become confident authors. Exposure to a range of high-quality texts and a language rich environment, supports children in cultivating versatile vocabulary skills, for a variety of purposes and audiences.
Spelling, punctuation and grammar are taught discreetly and within writing lessons, providing children across the school the opportunity to expand their grammatical knowledge and embed these skills when applying to their own writing composition ready for future education and real life.
