At Auriol Junior School, our geography curriculum is designed to nurture curiosity and exploration while building independence and resilience in our pupils. We aim to instil a thorough knowledge of continents and countries, exploring similarities and differences to foster an understanding of our varied and ever-changing planet. Through engaging activities such as fieldwork and computer mapping, we teach practical skills that will be invaluable in our pupils’ future education. Our goal is to inspire a genuine passion for geography, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong respect for our wonderful world.
